We are so excited to finally talk about our NEWEST product which we have been working on for MONTHS! It’s the Vegan Dental Floss in Bamboo Case! This 100% vegan and earth-friendly dental floss is made from cornstarch-based PLA, coated with Candelilla wax and flavoured with Spearmint oil. It comes in a natural bamboo case featuring a twist cap to ensure safety, a metal cap dispenser and can be reused with floss refills. This means you can keep your bathroom waste to an all-time low from never having to buy a new floss case again! 

Why did we choose bamboo? 

We chose bamboo because it is one of the most sustainable and environmentally friendly materials in the world! In fact, growing bamboo requires little water, it does not require any fertilisers or pesticides and self-regenerates from its own roots. In just 3-4 months, bamboo plants can grow to full size, compared to the standard tree which can take 30+ years. Bamboo is also a VERY durable material and will not break easily as other materials do (e.g. glass). Once bamboo products reach the end of their life, they can be composted and returned back to the Earth.

How to use: 

• Twist cap anticlockwise to expose dental floss 
• Gently pull out about 30cm of floss and roll the floss around your thumb to control the strength and position 
• Floss against tooth surface and under gum line 
• How to refill the case: 
• Hold onto body of bamboo case with one hand 
• With other hand, grip the top half of bamboo case (cap and neck) and twist anticlockwise 
• Insert new floss roll 
• Thread floss through hole via bottom-end of bamboo case neck 
• Twist clockwise to close
